HyperStrong CEO Dr. Jianhui Zhang honored with World CleanTech Awards 2023
HyperStrong is proud to announce that Dr. Jianhui Zhang, the CEO of the company, has been recently awarded the World CleanTech Awards 2023.
The World CleanTech Awards (WCA) honored the disruptors and innovators leading the CleanTech Transformation and Green Hydrogen Revolution. Dr. Jianhui Zhang, awarded the WCA2023 Visionary CleanTech Disruptor (Tony Seba Award), has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to sustainability. In the past decade, he has been driving HyperStrong towards environmental responsibility, with unwavering dedication to technology innovation in promoting energy transition and carbon neutrality. The award was presented by Mr. Thomas Altman, Executive Vice President of Innovation and New Technology at ACWA Power, and Mr. Ruggero Arico, CEO of RAMP Advisory.
Prof. Eicke R. Weber, Chair of the WCA Jury, Vice-Chair of the European Solar Manufacturing Council and Former Director of Fraunhofer ISE, reflected on the significance of the awards: “It is an honor to acknowledge the remarkable efforts of our awardees towards a 100% renewable energy future. Their dedication exemplifies the collective strength necessary for the CleanTech Transformation, following our motto #TogetherWeAreStronger.”

The World CleanTech Awards ceremony took place on 23rd January at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology), on the occasion of the ACWA Power Innovation Days 2024. As a part of a collaborative gathering among the CleanTech Business Club (CBC), ACWA Power, Dii Desert Energy, and KAUST, the ceremony brought together industry leaders, innovators, and influencers from around the world. The event highlighted the significant impact of clean technology on global sustainability and acknowledged individuals and organizations that are driving positive change. After the awarding ceremony, Dr. Jianhui Zhang also had an exchange with Marco Arcelli, CEO of ACWA Power and Bart Borsmans, CTO of ACWA Power, Paul Von Son, President of Dii Desert Energy, as well as Pinfang Wu, Chairman of GUOFUHEE also celebrated as the "Father of Hydrogen in China", introducing HyperStrong and its initiatives on energy transformation.
